How to Install Happ VPN on Windows, Android, Android TV, iOS, macOS, Apple TV, and Linux

Happ is a VPN client for connecting to servers via subscription. The app itself does not sell VPN access or provide servers — after installation, you need to import a configuration from your VPN provider. If you are new to the client, start with our overview of Happ VPN.

What you need before installing

General setup flow

The logic is the same on every platform:

1. Install Happ from an official source.
2. Copy your subscription in your VPN service account.
3. Import the subscription into the app.
4. Select a server from the list.
5. Press the connect button.

Where to download Happ: quick reference

Note for Apple devices: Happ may not be available in your regional App Store. In that case, change your Apple ID region using our App Store region change guide, or install the macOS version via DMG without the store.

Windows

Installation

1. Download the installer from the official website or via direct link.
2. Run the .exe file and complete the installation.
3. If Windows Defender prompts you, allow the app to run.

Setup

1. Click Copy subscription in your personal account.
2. Open Happ.
3. Paste the subscription into the input field with Ctrl+V.
4. Click Get started.
5. Select a server in the left menu and connect.

Android

Installation

1. Open Google Play and install Happ.
2. If Play Store is unavailable, download the APK and allow installation from unknown sources in Android settings.

Setup

1. Copy your subscription in your personal account.
2. Launch Happ.
3. Tap Clipboard — the subscription imports automatically.
4. Select a server in the bottom menu.
5. Press the connect button.

Android TV

On a TV, it is easiest to transfer the subscription from your phone via QR code.

Installation

1. Open Google Play on Android TV.
2. Find Happ and install the app.
3. Alternatively, install via APK from a USB drive or file manager.

Setup

3. On your phone, collapse the server list and tap QR-Code.
4. Scan the code from the TV screen.
5. Servers will appear in the TV app — select one and connect.
