Happ is a VPN client for connecting to servers via subscription. The app itself does not sell VPN access or provide servers — after installation, you need to import a configuration from your VPN provider. If you are new to the client, start with our overview of Happ VPN.
Below is a single guide covering installation and initial setup on Windows, Android, Android TV, iOS, macOS, Apple TV, and Linux. Each section lists official download sources and the connection steps.
What you need before installing
Prepare the following before downloading Happ:
| Requirement | Why |
|---|---|
| VPN subscription | A link or configuration from your provider — without it, the server list will be empty |
| Personal account | The Copy subscription button in your personal account |
| Current Happ version | Download only from the official website, App Store, Google Play, or your provider's direct links |
Unfortunately, many services do not let users test real performance before buying a full plan, which makes choosing harder in the current environment. We offer that option — get full access; if you decide the service is not right for you, you can cancel the subscription right away in your account.
General setup flow
The logic is the same on every platform:
- Install Happ from an official source.
- Copy your subscription in your VPN service account.
- Import the subscription into the app.
- Select a server from the list.
- Press the connect button.
On Android TV and Apple TV, the subscription is transferred from your phone via QR code — see the relevant sections below.

Bottom line
Installing Happ on any platform takes just a few minutes. The essentials are downloading from a trusted source and importing a current subscription from your VPN provider. On desktops (Windows, Linux), paste the subscription manually; on mobile devices (Android, iOS, macOS), use the Clipboard button; on TVs (Android TV, Apple TV), transfer settings via QR code from an already configured phone.
After the first connection, Happ updates the server list automatically. If something goes wrong, start with subscription sync and check that your plan is active in your personal account.
